The masterminds behind the “Dark Was The Night” compilation have been interviewed by nymag’s The Vulture. They discuss many things during the interview including their fist collaboration: “I guess we started writing songs together when we were 13. He wanted to play the guitar, so my parents ran to get him a guitar, and then the next day I felt neglected, so I got a bass. From the very beginning, we just sort of made things up together. That’s one of the great things about having a twin brother; you have a sort of feedback loop, where you can bounce things off of each other.”. You can read the full interview here.
